Alyssa Scott observed Valentine’s Day with an emotional blog post about her daughter, Zen, who passed in December at 5 months.

The model, 28years old, was welcomed by Zen on the 23rd July 2021 along with Nick Cannon, 41.

“I can see us the night before Valentine’s Day filling out cards for your classmates to distribute. All signed with your handwriting… I know it would say: love, Zen. Every letter is written with your tiny little hand,” the model captioned the carousel of videos and photos that showed Zen in a floppy bear outfit that is covered in kiss prints from lipstick.

Cannon stated that chemotherapy to treat Zen was an option for treatment that was considered for Zen.

“We were having quality-of-life conversations,” the actor said to People in December. “We could have experienced this kind of life where he’d been in a hospital, connected to machines for the remainder of his life. For someone who’s been through chemotherapy before, I understand the agony. When I saw what happens to a toddler, I did not want that. He shouldn’t have been in pain.”

Following Zen’s passing, Cannon praised Alyssa Scott for her determination.

“I often think of your voice. The sound of you saying, ‘I love my mom.’ Words I’ll never hear. Yet I still feel it even to the present day. I know that you are my favorite, Zen. There is no place like you,” Scott continued in her caption. “I can see you in everything beautiful. The moment I listen to a little smile or see children playing. There you are. If I could have one wish, it was to hug you. I’m sure that everything around me would be still. There would only be you and me.”

Alyssa Scott started her last remarks to her son, “I’m here; I love you.”

“That will ring true until the end of time,” she wrote. “I’m here, and I love you dearly. I miss you more today. My son. You are the sum of my desires realized.”

Cannon has been recently amid criticism following his announcement of the imminent arrival of his eighth child, model Bre Tiesi just two months after the death of Zen.

He apologized in the latest episode of “The Nick Cannon Show.”

“It was a lot going on;  I was unsure of how to explain it. I was unsure of what to say, so I probably talked too fast. and I misspoke,” Cannon revealed during his talk show earlier in the month. “I know I can do better when dealing with delicate and sensitive discussions.”

The soon-to-be father of eight has twin boys Zion and Zillion, born in June 2021, with DJ Abby De La Rosa. In addition, he has a son, Golden 4, and a Powerful daughter Queen, who is 1, and Brittany Bell and is also the father of twins Monroe and Moroccan 10, who are with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.

“I’m like a seahorse,” the rapper joked in a video interview with Power 106 Los Angeles in July 2021. He was speaking to the rapper duo JT along with Yung Miami. “I’m getting these kids with the intention of. I do not have an accident!”
